I had my appointment this morning and my ob said that I most likely have Symphysis Pubic Dysfunction. Apparently it's common with subsequent pregnancies and it very painful. Additionally he thinks I may have a form called diastatis symphysis pubis as I have been having severe pelvic pain and pain in my rear end that I thought was sciatica. He said that a support belt could help a little bit but other than that there isn't much I can do about it. Thankfully my son is head down as I was concerned that he moved and that was causing the awful pain. This is going to be a very long 5 and possibly 6 or 7 weeks if this baby takes after his brother and decides to come fashionably late. Has anybody had this and have any remedies that have helped with the pain?

I had this really bad at the end of 2nd tri/beginning 3rd. What I have found to be really helpful (but was difficult at first) is taking walks every day for about 20-30 min, at the fastest pace I feel like I can go. The dogs really help out with that.
Also I have been doing squats randomly throughout the day, whenever I need to pick anything up off the floor.
