Another RE vent

I thought I would be starting my cycle.  However, after I went to the RE and they did my bloodwork they called me and told me I wouldn't be starting one today because either the HSG or sonogram came back abnormal.  I took this test 2 weeks ago and they said everything looked fine.  I have had no contact from them in the last 2 weeks.  If I knew I had to make another appt to see the dr I would've done that and not even bothered getting up and going in before work today.  

This happened with my last cycle also.  They said I could start, got up early and went in early to do bloodwork.  Later that day they said I had to do the HSG, sonogram, and a endometrial biopsy.  When I scheduled it they said they don't normally do the biopsy with the others and I did not have to have it done.

I also found out the place they are calling in my meds is not where the insurance wants it to go.  Difference of about $800, thankfully the pharmacy is very ethical and made me aware of this.  They were willing to fill it, but wanted me to know upfront and were honest.  They were a little frustrated because they spent about 4 hours doing the research and if the RE would've called to tell them my cycle was cancelled then they would not have wasted their time also.  THANKS for listening.

Ugh, that would be so frustrating.  It's like they don't think your time is valuable, but I'm sure they would find a way to charge you if you wasted their time like that!

I'm sorry your tests came back abnormal.  Hopefully it will turn out to be really minor.  At least the pharmacy was ethical and on top of things!
