Avent bottles

I thought I read that the avent bottles were compatible with the medela breast bump? I purchased a pack of 3 4oz bottles today and they don't fit my pump n style. Do I need to wait until she goes up in oz's or for different medela pumps?

I'm using Medela and Avent bottles.

Can you pour the milk into the Avent bottles?  I always just used the Medela bottles to pump and would end up pouring into a storage bottle or bag for later use.  I used Avent bottles for my daughter and they were really good at keeping spit up to a minimum.

I never used bottles that were compatible with my breast pump. If I pumped to keep fresh for a feeding in the near future I stored it in the fridge in that bottle and if I fed right away I dumped it into the bottle I would be using. Or else, of course, into a bag for freezing. Wasnt a big deal either way.

Yes I'll be pumping and pouring I was just curious as to if it did or not but I may be checking into the converters. Thank you ladies.
