short pain w/ sneezing?

Does anyone else experience a short/sharp/stabbing pain in their lower abdomen when they sneeze?  I have been experiencing this for last few weeks.  it only lasts a few seconds after sneeze (maybe 5)

I get scared to sneeze because i know it is going to hurt, so i find myself actually grabbing my abdomen to like "cradle" it when i have to sneeze.  I have no other pains, issues, cramping or anything abnormal that makes me worry.  More just curious if this is normal.

Just for laughs:  i just peezed for the first time ever in my life! I've read about this happening to pregnant women and never understood how it could happen...i get it now!!! LMAO Embarrassed

4/12: HSG All Clear
5-1-12: DX of PCOS
5-4-12: DH S/A all normal.
5-16-12: Offically start IUI#1-->Clomid(50mg) + Trigger + IUI + progesterone supplements=BFN
IUI #2-same treatment-->BFN
July IUI#3-same treatment--->BFN
Aug 22, 2012-Laparoscopy Found/Removed extensive endometreosis.
September 2012-IUI #4-Same treatment as before. BFN
October 2012-forced break/Surgery to remove abnormal cells in left breast.
November 2012-First Injects Cycle (IUI #5)! 225IU Follistim CD 3-5, then monitoring appointment. 20+ follier & e2 >2000-Mild OHSS
December 2012-#2 Injects + IUI#6): Beta 1/18/13-BFN!
Jan 2013-Starting IVF!!! BC starts Jan 17/Lupron on Feb 13/Stims on Feb 18/ER on March 1 IVF Protocol: Lupron 10 units in am until stimms. Then 5 units of Lurpon in am, 150iu of Follistim and 1 unit of Menopur in pm. Holding dosage throughtout since response has been great. Thought we would be freeze all due to OHSS, but ended up getting more follicles then expected! 14 total!!! 12 mature and 11 fertilized. Dr calls for a 5 day transfer!! :) Will freeze remaining.

    yup! I have this and the peeze once too...just a little.  I think the pain is RLP, I have had it with all my pregnancies so I don't worry too much, but I find myself cradling the belly too.  DH told me to sneeze a different way...not sure how to do that!

    Curious to hear what others say too!  

    TTC#1: 14 months on our own (did HSG, b/w, SA);
    BFP on Cycle 14--TWINS! Identical twin boys stillborn at 19wks(1/9/10)
    3 break cycles; took clomid 50mg, BFP #2 Beta #1 35, Beta #2 338!!! Owen was born 2/11/11! 
    TTC#2: 4 cycles on clomid: BFNs
    BFP #3: Cycle #5 100mg clomid; beta #1 21; beta #2 6=CP 
    Cycle #6 break cycle TTC no meds=BFN
    Cycle #7: 150 clomid+ovidril+IUI=BFN (switched to RE)
    Cycle #8: follistem+ovidril+TI=BFN
    Cycle #9 Forced break due to cyst
    Cycle #10 follistem+ovidril+TI=BFN
    Cycle #11 follistem+ovidril+TI=BFN
    Cycle#12 Forced break due to cyst, went on BCP; did repeat HSG, Saline U/S
    Cycle #13 IVF: Follistim/Menapur ER 11-30 11 eggs, 5 mature, 4 fertilized and 3dt on 12-3; BFN
    Cycle #14: IVF#2 lupron/follistim/menopur ER 1-22, 19 eggs, 14 fertilized, 5dt on 1-27, BFP!! beta 1: 63, beta 2: 119; EDD 10-15-13; 1 frozen embie
    Miracle Surprise BFP, EDD 10-1-15; saw HB great Betas, 11weeks lost baby MC at home
    Moved forward with FET transfered solo frostie on 6-4-15, beta 1: 315, beta 2: 738, u/s showed one baby on track EDD 2-21-16

    My OB says it's due to round ligament pain. Since about 9dp5t I've had these pains only when I sneeze. Over the past week, they have been getting more intense. I'm so anxious about sneezing that when I feel one coming on I try to curl or sit up to lessen the pain.

    Ha, I've "snissed" before too (piss while sneezing). :-)

    As for the sharp pain, yeah, probably RLP, or due to your uterus growing, sometimes your ab muscles will get a bit tweaked.  I get 1-3 days periods where this bugs me, then it goes away.  Or, I had it early on when my ovaries were still swollen.   

    TTC #1 7/10, Me (31)- Dx DOR (AMH 0.6); DH (30)- normal
    BFP on Cycle #8. Natural M/C at ~8 weeks
    IUI #1 and #2 (8/12, 9/12)- 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel = BFNs
    IVF #1 (EPP) 13R/10M/9F, 5DT 1-4AA blast, beta #1-148, beta #2-322, 5 frosties!

    Yup I've been getting that for weeks also. Mostly on the right but sometimes on the left. I think it's muscles and ligaments stretching and moving out of the way as your uterus grows. Counterintuitively, I find if I stretch out long or sit up really straight (instead of curling over) it seems to help.

    Me too. And i asked RE about it and he told me that was the reason for the pain. However, i know they are no longer swollen so it must just be cuz im getting bigger.

    Glad to hear im not only one experiencing it (or the peezing). comforting! LOL

    Definitely sounds like RLP to me, I've been getting it a lot when I sneeze, move quickly, or for no reason at all sometimes. I've peezed or snissed several times already and coughed and peed a little last night (don't know how to combine those two - maybe poughed?) 

    I think I might need to increase my kegels!

    Yup! Right around 9 weeks for me. Sneezing, coughing and you get a sharp shooting pain. The first time it happened I freaked out. I have been experiencing RLP for a while. Wait until you move in the middle of the night and experience it. I haven?t ?snissed? yet, so time for kegels!
    Me 29/ DH 31 TTC = 11/11 HSG = Normal, LH = Low (almost normal) FSH = LOW, DHEA = HIGH SA = Normal 11/12: 50mg of Clomid = BFN 12/12: 50mg Clomid + Estrogen Patch +Progesterone (2x a day) = BFN 1/13: Benched - FU Cyst 1/31: Laparoscopy to remove cysts on right ovary 2/13: AF arrived(2/9)Trying on our own till April

    Thanks for posting this!  I've had awful allergies and was struggling with this all day.  I figured it was just my body being weird.  It's nice to know everyone else is going through the same thing.

    So glad you asked about this!  Like others, I have terrible allergies and get the sharp pains during my coughing fits (and sometimes when I sneeze).  Good to know that it happens to others and that the docs have said it's normal!
