Lemonade...

Hi ladies, I LOVE lemonade and it seems like LO does as well.  I have always drank Crystal Light Lemonade before I was PG although now I am trying to stay away from artificial sweetners, especially aspertame.  Any recommendations on some decent brands or recipes that I could make on my own?

"Simply Lemonade" in the refrigerated juice section! I love this stuff and usually do half juice and half water so it's not as sweet.

Great, now I want some lemonade!!! All we have at my job is Minute Maid, and I hate that stuff. It tastes watered down.

I was going to suggest Simply Lemonade too.  I often water it down too.  Usually I'll do about 1/4 to 1/3 water.

I know you asked about lemonade, but I actually prefer the Simply Limeade over Simply Lemonade.

I've never tried Simply Lemonade. I need to go buy some tonight. Looks like a big hit around here lol

OOo Yes!  Mix the Simply Limeade with the Simply RASPBERRY lemonade.  SOOO yummy!!!!

All of those juices in that line are delicious, my favorite is the Simply Orange. Expensive, but good!

I actually hate lemonade but craved it with my first pregnancy.  I drank Newman's own lemonade and  limeade throughout my pregnancy.  I have no idea what's in it, but Newman's own is supposed to be organic.  DD is almost four and seems fine to me, so check it out.

Mh and I get the frozen concentrate. That way I can stock up and have it on hand.

Squeeze a lemon into a glass. Add about a tablespoon of sugar, depending on how you like it. Fill with water and ice.

I also love lemonade but preferred the Turkey Hill brand to the Simply Lemonade I bought this month. I have to water the SL down because its soo sweet tasting.

simply lemonade & Newman's own.  I dilute both back with a bit of water and ice, to cut the sugar a bit.  I usually try not to drink my calories, but lately I've been indulging in this quite a bit.  I guess it makes up for the wine calories I'm not drinking these days.

Not sure about aspertame, but all I want to drink is Tropicana Lemonade. It is sooooo good. I HATE minute maid..ew. I will be trying Simply Lemonade for sure though, since everyone loves it! Glad I'm not the only one who has this craving!

I've been obsessed with lemonade as well. I have just been cutting a lemon in half and squeezing it into my glass of water. Yum! BUT if that's too much lemon for you than I agree get some Simply Lemonade.

Lemonade has been my drink of choice while pregnant.  I use the frozen concentrate pink but i use about 1/4 lemonade and the rest ice and water...i hate sweet drinks..this ends up being lemonade flavored water.  can't get enough!

My baby totally responds to lemonade, too! I hope it's because he likes it and not because he hates it...must be the sugar and ice! I have been known to get the strawberry lemonade from Wendy's...just make sure you order the small. I made the mistake of getting the medium, which was WAY to big.

Simply or Newman's cut in half with Seltzer water! It's delicious and refreshing, especially on a hot day.
