Crib wedge for reflux

Have any of you used a crib wedge for reflux, and if so, where did you put it?

1) on top of the mattress

2) under the mattress

3) under the fitted sheet?

We're about to start using one, but it was a hand-me-down from a good friend who used it for tummy time, and I don't have any instructions.

Thanks!

Depends on what kind of wedge.  We have one that is only about 2inches thick of soft squishy foam and it goes under the mattress.  Some are much higher and have a little harness to hold baby up so they don't slide down, that would go on top.  If the wedge is softer than your baby mattress it would need to go underneath the mattress or be used supervised.

It is pretty firm -- there is no harness, probably also abotu 2-3 inches at its highest point.

    Thanks!
