Parenting after a Loss

I hope you don't mind me asking, but how did you know your supply had dropped when you were dieting? You've mentioned this before, is all. I've been on WW for a month now and have lost almost 6 lbs., and I'm wondering if supply might not be part of the cause for DD's increased wake ups at night. Though to be fair, she's been a crappy sleeper since she was about four and a half months old (it's just getting worse).

  • Yeah, I usually only pump once a week at work, and while I feel like the last few times have been low, it's also been increasingly clear to me that DD is on a boob strike most days. She pops on and off and pushes away without ever really getting serious about it. When she nurses at night she just goes back to sleep when she's done.
