Horrible update!

My beta was 7. The doctor was unwilling to discuss anything with me and told me to consider myself not pregnant. F it all. I'm going to take some meds and sleep. My parents are going to watch my daughter. I am done. I give up. F the pregnancy tests I took, F the doctor, F the world and most of all F SIF!!!!

Thank you for all your support. I'm not sure if I will be around for a while.

    5/07 - DD conceived naturally cycle #1

    8/09 - Started TTC #2
    11/10 - BFP!
    12/10 - MC (Chemical Pregnancy)
    2/11 - IUI #1 with clomid & trigger = BFN
    5/11- Switched to a Fertility Specialist, Dx with low progesterone and annovulatory, several rounds of
             clomid = BFN's
    4/12 - Exploratory Lap, Dx Stage III endo
    5/12 - 7/12 - Lupron injections to suppress AF and reduce scar tissue
    8/12 - Surgery to remove tissue, uterus and tubes clear!
    9/12-12/12 - More BFN's!
    1/13 - Referred to an RE
    2/13 - IUI #1 with injects and new RE = BFN
    3/13 - 4/13 - Break due to cysts
    5/13 - IUI #2 with injects (125ml bravelle + trigger) = BFP!!!
    EDD - 1/23/14

    I'm so sorry. Take time to process it all and try to heal. IF is so unfair and some says we all feel like crawling under the covers and hiding forever. I hope you feel better soon.

    I'm so sorry. What an a-hole doctor. I'm so, so sorry you were treated so horribly. No one deserves that.

    I am so very sorry.  I hope you are able to find a wonderful new RE (with nice nurses) who is able to help you.  (hugs)

    Me: 42. DH: 46.

    1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.

    2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.

    3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.

    4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.

    5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.

    Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN.  After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.

    August 16, 2013:  BFP our first month of "not trying!"  Still in shock.  Beta #1 (14dpo): 183.  Beta #2 (17dpo):  611.  Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm! 
    Ultrasound 9/13/13:  8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
    Baby is due 4/26/14

    I am so sorry but umm isn't a 7 a chemical pregnancy? So shouldn't it count for something?

    I'm just stopping in really quick to say thank you for all your support! I still haven't had AF, only light blood or brown when I go to the bathroom and pain in my right side. All this information came from a doctor that has told me for almost 8 1/2 years that any number over 5 is pregnant and betas are done until that number drops under 5. He mentioned that it was probably a chemical pregnancy and it's over but he refused to test me for a UTI and when I asked about the positive tests and chemical pregnancy, he told me I would have to make an appointment for questions. I told him no thanks and that I wouldn't be back. I'm going to an OB/GYN that specializes in infertility on Thursday morning. It will be starting over but I think it will be a good change. I really do appreciate all of your support! I may be in and out for a while but I'm a little more calm at the moment.

    ETA: my bleeding has picked up a bit but still not a full on AF.

    I am so sorry for your upsetting day. I'm sure it didn't help that the people you count on to help you were less than caring. So wrong and so upsetting!! Any doctor who says he's unwilling to discuss this with you should not be practicing. 

    I had false hope last cycle too. I took a pregnancy test 13dpo and swore I had a positive. Just the thought that it was FINALLY our chance was so unbelievable and also a bit exciting, and then it all came crashing down -- hard. Take some time for yourself to address your feelings, treat yourself to something... I went out and got a pedicure and asked for an extra long foot massage, something I would never do if I thought I was pregnant.

    IF is really so unfair... I would never wish it on my worst enemy. I pray that you find some peace and that things turn around for you.
