If you have done a character themed b-day

did your child mostly get presents with that theme? For example if you sent out Elmo invitations did your LO get a lot of Elmo presents? Just wondering....

    half and half.  He got hotwheels stuff, but he also got a ton of lego things.  This is for DS1

    We did construction theme for 2nd birthday and got TONS of trucks.  But, last year we did Super Heroes and it was about 50/50 with half bringing Super Hero toys and half bringing something unrelated.

    Nope.  DD1's invites were princesses, and we did get some princess things, but we also got other stuff too.

    No, and I was shocked! He just had a Cars themed party and only got one thing Cars related.

    Not really. DD had a Minnie party and while she got some Disney themed presents, it wasn't overwhelming Minnie.

    No gifts do not go along with the theme that I have ever seen.  The majority of party invites have a theme per say (Elmo, rock star, etc).
