I'm trying to build up my BM stash for my LO who starts daycare next week and at the same time trying to get her to take a bottle...so when I try and give her the bottle and it doesn't go well do I have to waste that BM or can I freeze it afterwards?? I hate wasting it!!!
Re: BM storage question
I don't know if you know this but just in case you don't. The literature I have says you can store BM like this. on the counter room temp. 4-6 hours. In the fridge, 5 days, in a deep freeze 6-12 months and I think in the freezer of your fridge for a month or few months cant remember for sure.
So that being said. If you have left over milk and it has not been out at room temp for more than 6 hours and has not been frozen before then yes I would definitely freeze it... that stuff is liquid gold.
This.
