So HOT!

Anyone else not have air conditioning?  Any tips for keeping LO cool?

I have the AC but am trying to keep the bills down by not using it unless it gets well over 80... which it has a couple days. I keep the doors and windows open in the cool morning, but close them before it heats up.

DS HATES to be too hot, he got hot and sweaty in his car seat before we even hit 70 degree temps, so now that it's getting close to 90... eek! DS is stripped down to nothing but a diaper most afternoons these days. I also have a water-filled tummy mat that DS loves to play with. I just fill it with cool water and lay him on it.

DD hangs out in her diaper if its hot inside. We take a blanket outside in the shade some days too.

We wipe DD down with a cool cloth or go for a dip in the tub.

Its over 100 degrees where I live today so it is almost impossible to live without AC. When its under 80 degrees in the afternoon, I keep my windows and doors open at night to let the cool air in and close them in the morning. I also keep my blinds and curtain closed during the afternoon to keep the sunlight out. I'm already done with the hot weather and can't wait for winter!

Thank goodness for the cooler weather today. Yay! I'm loving the cool breeze at night. I hope it's cooler up north too!
