Daycare Birthday Treat?

Has/Is anyone sending a little birthday treat to daycare for LO's first birthday?  Since he's in the infant class, there are some babies in his class that can't join in the fun, but there are a couple other infants that could have a treat or something.

I'm taking his out of daycare on his actual birthday, but I was thinking for the day before.  Thoughts?

We did not because he was at my dad and step moms on his actual birthday.
Just keep in mind that if you do, be very cautious about other children and any possible allergies they may have. If you make something, be sure to have a list of all the ingredients.

Yeah, Daycare does not allow homemade food treats (which is just fine because I can't bake anyways!), so I was thinking maybe a pack of Gerber cookies or a little toy or something.  I just wasn't sure if it was overkill or not

I sent rice kripees for the staff.  Nothing for her room, because as you mention mostly still babies.  I included this poem on the box.

I sah but I did make cookies for the mops mothers of preschoolers group we go to since the meeting was the day before Luke's bday and he's in the toddler room not the nursery. I asked first and it was ok. I love bdays and to bake so I wanted to do something!!

I was going to and then decided not to b/c she is now the oldest in her room.  They did give her a b-day cookie so I thought that was cute.  Next year I will send something when they are all closer in age and eating the same things.
