I know this has been asked on here before, but I wasn't paying much attention then, and now I'm in the market for one. It seems all the ones available online and in stores have negative reviews, and the most popular ones are sand and water tables. I'm afraid DD will just spend all her time putting the sand into the water if I get a combined one. Who has one that they like, and is the sand/water combo a problem?

B has a little tikes pirate ship table. He really enjoys it. I don't have experience with a combo one with sand, but personally I didn't want the one with sand.

DH insisted that we put sand in the table -- and it turned into one giant mucky mess, but DS loved it. After DS finishes dumping out all the sand (he loves scooping it out onto our deck).... I think we will stick mainly with water. It's great entertainment though!
We have this one. T does occasionally mix the sand with the water but it sinks to the the bottom so its more like a beach than it is mud. She likes it and i think its a learning experience to mix things like that, learn new textures and such.

We have a similar one to CiCi and got it for $40 or so at Costco. Right now it has sand and water and she unfortunately loves to dump the sand down the water slide then say "uh oh".
I think this weekend I am going to take the sand out this weekend!

Re: Recommend your water table
I have this one:

It was a gift, so I didn't shop around. I like it and am surprised by all the negative reviews.
