Current favorite toys?

I'm looking to get a new toy (or two) for DD, to give to her when the new baby gets here.  Preferably something for indoors, something she can play with independently, and one that will hold her attention for more than 5 seconds.  What toys are your kids loving to play with right now?

We're probably getting her a small table and chairs so she can color, do stickers, etc.  While that should keep her attention, I still need to watch her like a hawk with crayons, so I'm looking for an actual toy.

I'm thinking something along the lines of the Little People Zoo or Farm, but completely open to any and all suggestions.  We're looking for something around $50, or under.  Any recommendations are appreciated!!!

There's a pink girly version, too, but I didn't see it on the FP website. My mom got it for my 2 year old niece at Christmas since she's also really into cars.

Oooh fun!   I'll bet DD would LOVE the Stand n Play Rampway...and DH, too, haha!  That's a definite possibility, thanks!!

We have the SnP Rampway.  The boys play with that for a good while before they lose interest.  I think it's a great suggestion.

Also he has been into his two different cell phones. One is by fisher price and one is by Leap Frog.

We have a table and chairs for him and I highly recommend it.

As of now big mixing bowls, so I'm not much help! When she actually plays with her toys she likes her Little people farm and tractor.

We found a play kitchen at a consignment sale - best $40.00 I spent. I have it set up in her "area" with a table and chairs set and play food, tea set. It is honestly the only thing that has kept her attention longer than 5 minutes and it doesn't make any noise, she does play with her little people disney princess castle but the damn thing makes a lot of noises.

Max loves his Noah Ark set from Little People, and he loves the farm too. One of his favourite activities is taking a tupperware full of water and giving all the little people baths, LOL! Another hit is his drum, but you might not love it so much!

Ds1 has been playing with his puzzles a lot lately and of course his trucks and trains. We also have one of those Melissa and Doug activity centers that keeps his attention. I also read to him when I'm nursing Ds2 or talk to him with this puppet he loves

Nina's favorite toys right now are her baby dolls. She has a stroller, car seat, diaper bag, bottles and other accessories. She loves her babies and can play with them for hours.

Little People jungle, Little People Noah's arc, wooden puzzles, hats/sunglasses/play jewelry (she loves to play dress up), and balls.

Thanks for all the suggestions!!!  We are going to TRU one night soon to shop around, so this really helps a ton. 

And Shanado, I had to laugh at the mixing bowls, because I was just saying to myself that I am sure I could really find plenty of non-toy items around the house to keep her amused.  I just need to get creative!
