Sorry I was MIA last week...
Two weeks ago, your challenge was to connect with an old friend. How did you do? Do anything else in terms of self care the past two weeks?
This week's challenge: Plan a vacation... A weeklong excursion, or a simple day trip; a family event, or a short getaway with your SO; fantasy or reality - It doesn't matter. Part of the fun of vacations is the planning. If you get frustrated because you don't feel like you will ever be able to TAKE the vacation you are planning, then start taking small steps to make your trip a reality (train a family member or close friend how to care for yoru child, develop a plan for saving money, etc.).

Oh I like this one! I have a week off work at the end of July, and we are hopefully going to either San Diego (to visit FIL) or Charleston (to visit my cousin). I will have fun researching the options and finding fun things to do. Anyone have suggestions (lol)?!
Two weeks ago DH and I went to Cancun without DS! DH earned the trip through work. We spent 5 nights at Le Blanc Resort and Spa. The service was amazing, the beach was beautiful, the weather was perfect, and the food and drinks were included! It was awesome.
Two week's ago challenge happened without any effort in my part. An old friend that would help DS in daycare (she moved jobs to become a teacher) text messaged me to ask how we are doing. She actually referred me to someone that can help DS as well.
I want to plan 3 family vacations all at once. 1. trip to White Sands - thought it would be fun for DS to play in the sand with his Tonka trucks. We stay in the hotel for one night. 2. eventually go back to DH's and I's hometown, my parents live there and that would be great for us to be with them. DH was thinking about the places we would eat at: Five Guys and Texas Roadhouse. 3. aquarium in Albuquerque-I think DS would love this! He is into ocean life.
