So Cal Developmental Ped

Does any know of a good developmental ped in So Cal? I am looking into my insurance, it looks like they may cover a Dr from a local university. Is this a good option? I just want some reassurance. DS has apraxia according to SLP. He will be tested by the district this summer, but I feel this may put my mind at ease as far as any other problems. I would prefer not to pay an arm and a leg if I could get approved for a decent one through insurance.
