I think they are both nice, respectable names. I agree with you that popularity doesn't matter, especially for a name you love.

ETA: Oh, and out of your two middle name choices, I like Kate better.

I love both choices. I like both Jane and Kate but prefer Kate by a landslide, especially with honoring your mom and how it sounds with Olivia.

I love Benjamin and the NN Ben, and David sounds great with it. A very strong, classic choice.

Olivia Jane is also a really nice choice. I don't like using Kate as a stand-alone MN, and Jane is too good to pass up. All in all, great names.

I prefer Olivia Kate. I will warn you since I have a Shelby Kate I have been seeing/hearing Kate as a mn more and more, but that might just be my area. Olivia is beautiful, but a overdone to me, so I don't get excited over it.

Benjamin David is wonderful! Benjamin is on our long list, too.
