Have any of you ladies ever purchased the cardboard letters and spray painted them? I've seen other logs where they have spray painted them the metallic cold but we want a different color, has anyone tried this?

I do that a lot. You can use any color spray paint and it looks pretty neat. My favorite is to decoupage with scrapbook paper using mod podge.

I wrapped an M in a color that matched her bedding. I then hot glued some flowers on it

I bought wooden letters at the craft store and then bought some brown paint (regular latex wall paint) that matches the color of the rocker in son's room. Then once the brown dried I used some of the leftover blue paint from his walls and put polka dots on them. Turned out really cute.
