Time for new clothes

I feel so guilty needing to get new clothes, especially pants! But i know I have too. I feel so uncomfortable in my pants and have no shorts that fit anymore for those hot days. I just feel bad needing to spend money on clothes when this month we've been very tight on money with unexpected bills. My hubby keeps saying it's ok since I need them, but I'm not a person that likes to shop for myself! Sorry I just needed to get it off my chest, no one seems to understand me when I tell them this!

  • Do you have any friends who can pass some maternity clothes onto you? So far, between hand me downs and stretchy clothes I already owned, I've been able to get away with spending only 30 on a pair of maternity jeans from h and m.

Not sure what you need but yoga pants work great through maternity and postpartum, and cropped ones are good for warm weather. Last pregnancy, when I was working, towards the end I even wore plain black ones with long shirts and pretended they were dress pants. No one cares, and my office was very formal. But a good pair of black plain yoga pants can be worn just about anywhere, for years, so isn't such a bad investment!

I love yoga pants! I use to have about 5 different pairs all from Victoria secret, then my hubby's family dog decided he liked the taste of them when we'd do laundry there! Talk about wanting to kill the dog for ruining about 200 worth of amazing clothes ! I also don't have many friends who have babies, and the closest friend I have that did is 4'9 and probably less than a 100 lbs! Lol half my size for sure. Sorry for all the ladies feeling the same way!
  • I feel you! Plus shopping for maternity clothes just isn't as fun! I'm about to start loading up on sundresses! And need to get a swimsuit my boobs are out of control.
