What fertility treatments are usually give as options with different follicle counts?on the lower spectrum of things.
Dx : DOR
IUI #1 (Follistim switched over to Menopur injections) - BFN
Attempted IUI #2 (Menopur injections only cycle) better response on the Menopur then the Follistim combination treatment cycle however my cycle was still canceled due to my eggs not maturing and follicles not growing enough on a high dose of Menopur (Re said I could try a cycle of comid + ovidrel for an IUI) for my second IUI( praying this works for us)
Clomid + Ovidrel protocol worked still a BFN as a result
Attempted cycle Clomid + Ovidrel protocol for IUI # 3 (Unable to do this cycle due to a cyst)
IUI # 3 Clomid+ Ovidrel protocol - BFP Beta #1 752 Beta #2 1536 Beta #3 3797
EDD 10/27/14
Our sweet baby boy arrived on 9/2/14 TTC # 2 Conceived without help- June 2015 July 2015- Miscarriage ( blighted ovum)

Re: Follicles
????
Do you mean a low follicle count on cd3 as in a diagnosis of DOR (Diminished ovarian reserve)?
Or do you mean what forms of drugs and treatment are used that don't produce a large number of follicles - because really that's the idea behind every treatment except for IVF where they are looking for a decent number of quality eggs...where as on clomid, femera, or injects such as follistim, menaupur, bravelle, Gonal F, etc for IUI or TI the main goal is one to four good follies.

If you have a low AFC on cd3, if that is paired with low level of the hormone (I am sorry I can't remember if it's AHM, LH, or what) then you will be diagnosed with DOR. If it was just a slightly poor AFC on cd3 but your hormone levels are fine, they will revisit the issue next cd3 for another look before deciding on a diagnosis.
Depending on the level of severity, your age, etc. your doctor will decide a course of action if you do get Dx DOR. For really bad cases, it's highly suggested you move straight to IVF as it gives you the best chances with the eggs you have left. For extremely severe cases, they might suggest donor eggs for FET IVF cycle.
When you say low, do you remember the exact number of follies on each side that they were able to find?
Edit to add: And how old are you?

And how many follies did they find on cd3?
Just to give you a frame of reference...when I started treatment with my RE I was 33 and had a AFC of 11 on right and 12 on left and was told "You have the ovaries of a 23 year old".
Three years later, I'm 35 and was told I had 7 on one and 8 on the other and was now "typical" for my age.
Edit to take out *not*, sorry...meant to say "now typical for my age"

Hello. I had AFC also. I'm 39 and might be pregnant but not sure. I think my number was in the 20. My labs are wrong too though and we have not been pregnant for more then 6 years. The doctor did IUI.
