Mobile : swaddling a wiggly baby

I have a wiggly LO on my hands. I swaddle him at night with the swaddleme which has worked great up until recently.

He now wiggles so much and tries to bust out, but when trying to get him to sleep without it his movements wake him and he gets mad.

What do you ladies suggest?

Try Halo sleeping bags, they work well. Mine would get out of the swaddle and all kinds of hand restrictions by the time he wants to eat again. I just feed and re-swaddle him for the remainder of the night. PS mine would toss and grunt until I hold his head and rub his forehead or temple with a thumb and shoosh him. That seems to help to calm him and send him into a never never land.

My DS started wiggling out of the Swaddle me around 3 weeks.  I was loaned a Miracle Blanket but he outgrew it pretty quickly in the footbed area.  I used a receiving blanket laid inside a regular large swaddle to mimic a Miracle Blanket.  Watch this video for a tutorial.  It works really well even with all the wiggles and nursing and whatnot.  The arms are still snug at the end when laying LO down.  In the video they are using a swaddleme with a receiving blanket but I used a regular swaddle, still the same idea.  Also, as he got bigger I folded my receiving blanket in half longwise vs the triangle they make, still same difference.

We've had great luck with the Woombie.  We bought the Houdini model as DD constantly broke out of swaddles.  She even could work her hands out of the Halo Sleep Sack.

We've tried the woombie, regular swaddling with various types of blankets, Halo sacks, and the Miracle Blanket. I find the Miracle Blanket is the best immobilization. They can still squirm and wiggle their arms in the Woombie.
