Keeping baby cool in car

It is hot here and it seems that even when I turn the air on in the car, by the time I go to take my infant out of the car, her back is sweaty or her forehead is sweaty. Does anyone have any tips on how to keep baby cool in the car?

I am facing the same thing, no blankets or anything on him besides clothes.. I find though if I roll the windows down if I am on a highway or something it cools it out back there too. Just have to make sure the wind isn't hitting them in the face.

Same problem here! It was 97 today!! Someone posted a car seat cooler they saw on Pinterest.  Basically you lay it in the car seat while LO isn't in it and take it out before you put them back in and it keeps it cool.

we live in an apartment complex and the parking lot is around the front so I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my car running without it being in sight...

How about a fan. If you look on Amazon, they sell stroller fans that can clip onto anything.
