Generic brand same as Aquaphor?

Doc recommended using Aquaphor on DS's eczema. Someone gave us a huge container of the store brand version. They have the same ingredients.

Has anyone found that brand name makes a difference in this instance?

I have the store brand. Although we have not needed it for eczema, we have used it for everything from diaper rashes to chapped noses from a cold. It works great.
