LO gets her 1st shots today and I am freaking out... I delayed all shots at 1st and now she is 2 months old and will get them today. My cousin is dating a girl that has been telling me so many horrible stories about babies getting their shots and dying or having major things wrong with them. Logically I know that many babies receive shots and are absolutely fine and this girl is kind of crazy, but I just cant shake the scary feeling that I have about it.. Please talk some sense into me...

I have been researching but her stupid stories are stuck in my head! Ugh! She tells me so many awful baby death stories I have stopped speaking to her! How old were your babies when they got vaccinated? Tell me more guys, this is helping! Lol

Your baby will be fine. DS got his shots at 2 months and he already got his second round at 4 months.

Vaccines prevent terrible, fatal diseases and keep LO protected and healthy. Plus, they help protect LOs who can't get vaccines due to age or immune issues. Please get your child vaccinated, keep going it, and ignore the wackjobs.

This. DS got his first shot in the hospital at 2 days old. He's since had more shots at 2 months.

There is a peer reviewed paper out there on googleland somewhere where it says that your child is more likely to catch a disease that could have been prevented from the shots than any life threatening thing or possible autism from getting it. It is not confirmed either that the latter is caused by shots.

Hahaha I have told her to STFU! LO got her shots and I am not as much of a  nervous wreck as I was earlier. Thanks for all your posts and support! This girl is really dumb and annoying but for some reason she just started getting to my head this morning and I was super nervous to give LO her shots. Im glad the Dr's app is all over Lol

The actual chance of death and vaccines is pretty small in comparison to the rate of mild to no reactions. I was always just very sad to see their sad little face with tears running down it.

Sooo depressing.
