Moms on Call

Hello! I have a 2 week old and we are just implenmenting the Moms on Call schedule. Has anyone tried it? My confusion is that it says the baby should be swaddled for all naps but later it says that baby should nap in crib at least twice a day. If the baby is swaddled then I can't put her in a swing or bouncy? Do you swaddle for all naps? Do you have your baby napping in a crib for all naps?

Thanks for the help!

Re: Moms on Call

  • I swaddle for all naps and he's in his rnp. I don't buckle him in as he is snuggled in there. He hates the crib right now.

We've swaddled and had DS in a swing and bouncy unbuckled. He's just now starting to get where he can move himself down, but we've got a solution for both so that we can keep him swaddled. Sometimes I'll buckle him in, then wrap a blanket tightly around him and that works too.

  • OK, thanks! I swaddled for all naps today and it was a world of difference. Here's hoping I get lots of sleep tonight!
