I had an interview yesterday at the company where I currently work for a job that I really want. A little history- I've been with them for almost 9 yrs in a sales position, I transferred from the Denver division to Las Vegas 2 years ago. I was offered a position in purchasing last May when I was pregnant and because of my difficult pregnancy I took it since it would get me out of the heat all summer. It was a situation where they needed me for a new position because I had the experience & I needed them because my dr was threatening bed rest if I didn't take it easy. They took very good care of me by matching my salary and it has worked out great. Now there is a position open in sales where I could potentially make more money and get to do what I enjoy. I know that out of all of the internal candiates I am the most qualified and have a great relationship with the other people in that dept. I am definatley second guessing myself & preparing for the worst news but am really hoping that they make me an offer next week! I guess I am just looking for some words of encouragement!
Thanks!
