I just wanted to make sure you saw my response to you on the SN board. Another thought would be to have the doctor who reviews the file confer with a cardiologist as well. I know ours did that for us when we adopted M.
You could also call a good children's hospital and ask to have someone discuss it with you. You'd likely have regular visits with a pediatric cardiologist for the child, it's never too early to start that relationship. We use the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and they also have a separate adoption unit strictly designed to help prospective adoptive parents review the files of children they are considering adopting.
