What should I expect at a CD 11 monitoring appointment? Is it just like the CD 3 appointment or is there more to it? I've never made it this far before so I'm just really excited and hopeful... But I am getting nervous!
UPDATE: I had 3 small follies 10, 10 and 11. I am going back Tuesday morning for another monitoring appt.

Re: UPDATED: First monitoring appointment
It is like cd3 in that they will do a vag cam U/S and B/W...only this time they are looking for growing follies and will measure them (FX that you have some over 16mm by now) and the blood work will mainly be looking at your e2 level. Each mature follie has 200 of estrogen. They need to be at least 16mm to be mature; but the ideal size is 18-24mm in order to trigger with an e2 of over 200 for each of those follies.
Do not get discouraged if your follies are not there yet, but are at least over 12mm by today because some people are slower growers. If that is the case, you will most likely need to come in again for another monitoring appointment. But if they are over 16mm and/or your e2 is high, they will have you trigger tonight or tomorrow!
