Later this morning I'm bringing M to the pedi's office to get him checked out.  He had a fever on Mother's Day but for 24 hrs only. Since the, he had been acting pretty normal during the day but his overnight sleep has gotten a lot worse.  Late yesterday I noticed he has a faint rash all over his body so I called the office after hours.  His pedi thinks it's a viral illness rash and I should bring M into the office today.  M slept even worse last night - kept waking up to cry, the fell back asleep for 30 mins, rinse and repeat.

Tmrw I have a haircut appt in the morning.  IN the afternoon, DH is going to see "Amadeus" - a play/musical by one of the live theatres in town - his Father's Day present from me.

Sunday we're having our friends over for breakfast/brunch.  These are good friends but we haven't spent much time with them since M was born... they don't have children (yet) and they have stopped inviting us over to their place now that we have M.  My guess is they're not sure if their house is safe for M (esp they have 2 feisty cats), and we really have been so busy and tired that we haven't invited them.

We are heading down to Houston tonight. I've got a baby shower tomorrow and I'm also participating in a photographer's personal project on IF and we get some free pictures of me and H out of the deal. I'm pretty excited about it!

Sunday DH has to do some side work (AC guy) so me and H will just relax at home.

Today is a trip to IKEA with my mom, and a stop at the Croc's store to get shoes for my DH.

Saturday we have a Folk Arts Festival at a local park. Lots of food and shows from many different cultures. And since it is the May long weekend in Canada we have our local Stampede!! My dad is racing in the mud bog so we go to watch that. Plus generic carnival rides and whatnot.

Sunday is church and working on the backyard.

And Monday is a holiday so an extra day with DH!! We plan on more backyard work. And going to a Dutch open house. Along with the multicultural festival there are a bunch of open houses from the different cultures throughout the next two weeks. Man I love long weekends!!

We have a busy weekend ahead - 1st birthday party on Saturday and then a Communion on Sunday, along with all the normal weekend stuff.  Hoping to get some flowers planted this weekend too!

Running around with A and DH today to do some shopping. Tomorrow is our niece's sweet 16 party holy cow! I remember her as a toddler! and no plans for Sunday. I might visit some friends as DH works on Sundays.

I hope M is feeling better. A got a diaper rash super quick yesterday and nothing I have seems to be helping.

We are going to meet my parents at my aunt and uncle's house about 2 hours away. It will be my aunt's first time meeting E and my parents first time seeing E walk. My cousin will also be there with her little girl who is just a few months younger than E, so I'm super excited for them to meet. We are taking the girls to the zoo which should be really fun. It will be E's first time and she loves animals so I'm excited.

The Austin area. DH has family in Sealy so we're staying with them and his brother and his wife will be at MD Anderson so we may drop by there too. SIL had breast cancer and when she went in for her reconstruction, they found it in her lungs. She's doing great and everything is either shrinking or completely gone but they go to MD from Waco two weekends in a row, then get one off. This is their long weekend. Then the shower is in Richmond. Lots of traveling and lots of people to see, but it'll be fun!

Wow, that is a lot of traveling.  I'm sorry about your SIL, but I'm glad to hear treatment is going well, and she's at the best place in the world for it.  And I'm not just saying that bc I work there.

We are hoping to get a lot of outdoor work done this weekend. My aunt is supposed to come by for a visit and to pick up my old maternity clothes for my cousin who is pregnant and we are going to DH's sister's on Sunday for a family lunch celebrating nephew's Confirmation. Busy, busy

Hopefully M feels better soon!

Tomorrow we have a wedding. It will be our first time leaving Grace. I'm a little sad, but I'm also looking forward to having some time with DH and a few glasses of wine! I'm EBF, so I've been trying to pump in addition to supply my mom with some BM bottles while she babysits- the result is me nursing every 2-3 hours and pumping in between. I'm tired! Next time ill plan ahead...

I'm in Compliance.  We are in a building a block away from the main hospital.

No plans for Saturday, but Sunday is busy. My old boss invited me to a historic house tour, then I have Mah Jongg, and after that an improptu bbq for my uncle's b-day.

 I am just back from our 2m vaccines and LO is currently snuggled in tight with me and it is wonderful. We are going to cuddle today as needed and then it is a long weekend here but we just have stuff to do around the house. DH is going to the movies tomorrow so I might try to have a play date with a friend then depending in how LO Is doing. I am also trying to get back into study mode....

Happy weekend! I'm working a bit on Saturday. I have a baby shower for my IRL IVF buddy. I'm so excited for her and I went a bit nuts getting her some super awesome stuff. I confess to getting her several thing that weren't on the registry because as a new mama, I've encountered a few thing that have been totally awesome that no one told me to get (nipple butter to name one thing-she is planning to bf). 

Otherwise, we have to move on getting flooring picked out and installation lined up. I really want to refi and we need to get the show on the road.  I had a guy come out with an estimate today and I'm ready to pull the trigger. Our current interest rate is 6.25% and now that our renovation is almost finished, our house will finally appraise. 

Weather is supposed to be low to mid 90s, so awesome by our standards. Yay! 

Btw, I'm really looking forward to a cocktail. I'm thinking mojito once DD is asleep.
