Night babysitters

My mom has watched my kids since they were both 3 months old, and I love her for it. She has hurt her shoulder and can't do as much. My mother in law is not very dependable. We have gone down our list of friends that we know, but none can do nights. We both work 3rd shift. Have any of you tried agencies or something that you had good luck with? I'm so scared of someone hurting them, I've never let anyone except my mom and mother in law watch them. I'm a worry wart!! Any suggestions?

I found several of my babysitting jobs posted in the education building of my university. If you have a college nearby that offers an education program, you could call to see if they have a job board. Depending in how far along the student is, she may have already had to have a background check. Our friends use care.com and have found one good nanny and one bad one.

I didn't get a night babysitter but did find a regular babysitter on care.com.  I know other people that have had success there too.
