Sookie, you must have picked the time between when I left work, had dinner with my family, gave DS (who is almost 13 months, btw) a bath, and put him to bed to create this.
I lovelovelove Is This It. I'm also a fan of Room On Fire. I think Reptilla is a great song, and not just because it was in Guitar Hero.
I like First Impressions. I think there are tracks that work and tracks that don't. Razorblade is an awesome song, and I really like You Only Live Once and Heart in a Cage. It's less of an album you listen to the entire thing as the others.
I'm not even sure I have their newest on my iTunes. Fatherhood has made me slack on new music.
-My son was born in April 2012. He pretty much rules.
Also, your thoughts on Vampire Weekend, who I love so much I cry.
ALSO, are you a Queens of the Stone Age fan? I am seeing them this summer.
Vampire Weekend has never made much of an impression on me. I find their band name silly; 'let's just throw two nouns together'. Their music is fine, but doesn't give me the feels like The Strokes or Spoon or The Decemberists.
I should be more of a Queens of the Stone Age fan than I am, considering they have San Diego roots. I like them fine. I have a couple of their tracks. But again, they're not in my top 10 or top 20 bands.

Re: ::LuckyDad::
I'm straddling Sookie in both boards.
Here is a video of Fitz and The Tantrums: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4Yz_bUTlbo
I hate reviewers and their wrong opinions.
I think the strokes are just way ahead of their time and are genius. That is all.

Come to Iowa and pick me up along the way.
Sure thing buddy but I get shotgun.
Sookie can drive.
I can bring the brownies!
