Background: DS and my niece go to daycare together (different rooms, DS is almost 2 and my niece is 3). SIL (niece's mom) is DS's primary daycare teacher.

Last Friday, my niece was home sick. She apparently puked a few times.

Today, SIL missed work because she's got the pukes.

I feel like it's inevitable DS will get it next. Ugh, we just don't have time for illness! We have weddings this weekend and next weekend that I really want to go to, plus my mom's coming into town! Someone talk me down off the ledge. I freaking HATE the stomach flu and its fear tactics.

According to pinterest drinking grape juice can help prevent you from catching a stomach bug. Probably not true, but can't hurt?

That's what I thought until freaking SIL got it a week later. But I guess they do live together. But she's his teacher and touches his food and shiit.

I could handle Tues/Wed stomach flu, I think, as long as neither DH or I got it. But, ain't nobody got time for that on the weekends.

like half of my kids daycare got a stomach virus and kiddo did not.  it's possible.  keep the faith.

This. About a month ago some kids in DD's class started puking and I was scared shiitless that DD would come down with the pukes. Thank God she was fine and dodged the puke bullet.
