DH had his vasectomy consultation yesterday. The earliest he could get an appointment for the procedure was September 27. Better late than never, I suppose. It will be awesome not to have to take birth control anymore.
Yay! My husband has his follow up to make sure none of his boys are still swimming next week. I can't wait, too!
About how long was that after his procedure? DH's doctor requires 20 (ahem) evacuations before he'll take the first of two samples.
I think he needed 16 "releases" or 8 weeks? It so happened that everyone in the house has been sick for the last 6 weeks, we all keep rotating so there was some concern that he wasn't going to "hit his mark" since it's been hard to get into the mood when we're coughing, sneezing and nose blowing constantly. I think we hit it or were very close but I told him if he was worried, take a day off and have a marathon day alone to finish the job.
