Bactrim DS?

My doctor prescribed me this for having bacteria in my urine and when I got it filled I saw where it said do not take if you become pregnant. Of course I researched it and it looks like it's not good to take during first trimester and the last month of pregnancy. Has anyone ever been prescribed this during pregnancy and what was the outcome???

    It sounds familiar, is it a black and yellow pill? If so, that's what they give me every time I have a uti during pregnancy, which is alot!

    My doctor prescribed me bactrim shortly after I found out I was pregnant, I did a lot of googling about it, some saying it wasn't recommended, and just as many people saying they took it and never had any issues with their babies. In the end I trusted my doctor and took it.
