Is something wrong??

So my 8 mth old has done nothing but sleep and cry all day. (he usually takes an hour nap around lunch and that's it. ) Today he took an 2 hr and 30 min nap along with a 45 min nap around 6  and his bed time is 10 pm well he did not make it to 10 pm. he fell asleep at 9 pm. When he has been awake today he has been nothing but very clingy and crying all day. He is not running a temp. He has a little diaper rash but been putting cream on that. He did not do this when his first two teeth came in so what could be wrong? HELP I am losing my mind.

Growth spurt?

My little guy will do this after a growth spurt.  How much is he eating?  During a spurt my guy doesn't sleep well and eats a ton.  But when the spurt is at the end he sleeps alot and doesn't eat as much.  Could it be the top teeth?  Those are hello.  We didn't have many problems with the bottom.

That sounds like teething to me. My son has two teeth in and he has the days like that every now and then. VERY clingly and sleepy.

He is not eating very well either. I know one of you asked about that. I give him his milk every 3 hours plus some breastfeeding. He has been refusing at least two of the bottles a day.

Well, I know my friends DD has very similar behavior when she is teething. But if you are really concerned, I would call up your pediatrician and see what he/she has to say. Kids go through crazy phases too...for example, a couple of weeks ago my daughter went through a nap strike. She went from two naps a day to refusing to to sleep during the day. She's back to her regular schedule again. I have no idea what happened that week.
