I messed some stuff up recently and have a hot date with my crazy boss tomorrow morning for a good old fashioned, closed door, yelling-at. Fortunately, I leave this job the very next day to start a new one on Monday. Ugh!
That sucks. I hope it's not too rough. I probably wouldn't have even worried about giving an employee a "talking to" if they were on their way out the door anyway.
Yes this sucks. I actually realized when I came in this morning that I misunderstood something someone said and it resulted in me really messing something up. I can fix it but I am dreading telling my boss about it. He's going to be really agitated until it gets fixed.
why would you even sit and stay there and get yelled at when you are leaving the next day? I would have just made that the end of it.
I completely agree. Being reprimanded for doing something wrong is one thing...but "yelling at you" is completely immature and unprofessional. You're not his child. I would not have tolerated it.
