We do. Our pedi said there is no difference between the name brand and the store brands and they are so heavily regulated by the FDA that they are completely fine. We started using Target's Up and Up version of Enfamil Gentlease and now we use the Sam's Club Simply Right version of it. Both have worked out just fine for us. We switched to the Sam's Club brand because it was less expensive. I think we pay $23.99 for 3 pounds of it!
We are planning to switch to the Costco brand. I just want to ask the Pedi if their is an age they handle a switch better. If it doesnt matter we will mix some of the current formula with the new until we can use all new.
Didn't ask our pedi but DS was on Similac Expert Care in the NICU for a month, then I brought him home and had a sample tub of Similac Advance, and now the past 3 days been using a tub I bought before delivery of Up & Up, Enfamil Premium comparable. Have not noticed any difference in DS. I have been mixing 27 calorie, which is tougher to digest, and still no difference.
We switched last week to Simply Right (Sams brand) equivalent to Similac Advanced a week ago, and DD is doing so well. Pedi had no problem with the switch! Basically the same thing, but you get more product for cheaper! No complaints here!!!
