does LO have a sandbox

we keep going back and forth whether to get her one this year or maybe wait til she is a little older. we are worried it will be messy and get sand all over and possibly in her eyes..

the parks around our house have either little rocks or mulch but no sand. 

do you have sandbox at home for LO?

Yes and she loves it! My dad built it for her. It can be messy but she is much better with not getting it in her eyes or even eating it than she was at 1. She usually wipes her hands off. We did build a cover for ours also because of our cats and neighborhood cats.

Yes we have the good ol' turtle sandbox

He loves it!  We keep the sand dry, so it brushes off pretty easy.  He only ate it once before deciding he didn't like the taste, thank goodness.

I think this summer is a perfect age for it.

Yes for now little tike ones, but in the process of building a bigger one so they can both play in it.

We have one and DS loves it.  Spends lots of time playing in it!  It has a cover so the sand doesn't get wet and keeps the neighborhood critters out.   We just make sure to take off his shoes and try to brush him off outside before he comes in.  I haven't noticed a lot of sand getting tracked inside.

 Yep. She loves it. Likes plays for hours in that thing every day loves it. We've had one since last summer actually.

She eats it. It gets everywhere including down her diaper. Not really in her eyes though.

Whatever. She's lived this long. It's what kids do.
