Babies: 6 - 9 Months

BF mamas & DTD

So we're about 6.5 months out from when I gave birth to V and we're still having issues DTD. It's still uncomfortable. I went to my Dr. and she said she didn't see any scarring, or anything that would cause it to be uncomfortable. What the heck? I'm going crazy over here!

It was uncomfortable for me up until recently.  My problem was (TMI) I just felt sore on the inside.  We just took it slow and easy for a long while with lots of lube.  Since your doctor isn't seeing any reason for it to be uncomfortable, I would just keep at it.  Eventually I think you'll get back into the swing of things.

This was how I was for a long while after DS. It eventually went away. I didn't have anywhere near the level of pain after DD. It does get better.

  • Uncomfortable (understatement: it was painful) until 7.5 months.

  • still have issues and LO is 8 mths. I think mine has to do with TMI a rip that was not sewed back together. My pain is all on the outside.
