I keep reading this sad story from our local news and it's bothering me more than usual.  I need to get my mind off of it and improve my mood.

Not a joke or funny pic, but a convo b/t Oliver and his Nanny yesterday.

Ollie:  My daddy says s'hit a lot.

::::pause::::

Ollie:  Ronnie (another boy at his sitter's) said his daddy says s'hit a lot too.

Nanny:  Well, sometimes grown-ups say words like that, but they aren't very nice so you shouldn't say them.

Ollie:  Sometimes I say s'hit to my mommy.

His Nanny said she had to go into the bathroom to laugh so she wouldn't laugh about it in front of him.  My kid haz a potty mouth.

too funny.  The other night we were talking with the kids and DD tattles on her brother "he said damnit".  DH points out that DS had actually said "don't it".  DD replies "Oh, I thought he said damnit and you're not supposed to say damnit".  Then I think she might have said it a few more times to see what she could get away with.

On the topic of kids cursing, my BFF's toddler says flucking. We were at the table and he goes "flucking pizza!" She said they were at a restaurant and he loudly says "FLUCKING PEAS!" and flicked one at her face. At home, he goes up to the beta fish and goes "stupid flucking fish!"

I'm cracking up.

I kept going, "E, what did you call that pizza?" and she told me to stop encouraging him. I guess she doesn't find it that funny. He also sings "Thrift Shop" and goes up to random things and asks if they're mad. U mad, fish? U mad, table? OMG he is hilarious.

Hah. Oliver loves "Thrift Shop."
