This is what I always thinks of and can't get past it. It seems that it gets used as a gender neutral name too so I don't consider it an all boy strong name.

I definitely think there are stronger options than Ryder if your focus is ensuring that the name conveys "all boy".Scott in the FN spot would be much better.

This. I think there are plenty of other names that will establish that he has a penis without coming off as trying too hard, which is exactly what Ryder is to me.

I can see the appeal of Ryder, but the potential for teasing is pretty big, and that's one of my sensitive points, too.

What about Ryker?  Ryker Scott...?
