HELP!

I have The First Years True Fit convertible car seat and I bought the GoGo Kidz Travelmate to transport the car seat through the airport. We leave this weekend and, even though the GoGo Kidz website says that the travel system works with this car seat, my husband and I CANNOT get it to fit at all. Has anyone else run into this problem? Are there other car seat carriers that might be worth buying instead that work with this car seat? Any advice would be great right now. TIA
