The lady at Target told me it was nice my twins were fraternal because I can feel like I have two babies. It's really so sad for those of you with ID twins that you must only feel like you have one baby. Because they're actually clones and do everything simultaneously.

I guess bearing in mind she asked if I was babysitting to begin with, and then asked if they were brothers when I said no, and then was STUNNED when she found out they were twins, not too surprising. I think I'm going to start telling people mine are ID anyhow if they ask. SMH.

Since the bump won't let me update my siggy, here they are anyhow

Such adorable babies!!!  Mine look nothing alike either and I get asked all of the time if they are identical.  I guess all babies look the same to some people?  I'm going to start just saying yes to that as well. Tell people what they want to hear and then they leave you alone.

HAHAHA I kept telling people I was so glad I was having fraternal twins because ID twins freak me out because they STARTED AS ONE BEING. So weird. Now I have IDs and it's still just really weird to me. What freaks me out the most is that while they share the same DNA, they're so different...it makes me wonder what I would have been like if my mom had held me facing out ward for an extra hour one day in October of 1983. I may have become a totally different person...

Clearly my lack of sleep has me going to some dark places.

Same here.  I don't even bother to rebut.  Lots of people tell me that I must be able to tell them apart by their eye color.  Really people?

They are sooooo cute, and so much bigger than in your siggie pic.  !  I have ids and people tell me (yes, tell, not ask) how lucky I am.to have a boy and a girl, even though most of their clothes are pink and they look pretty much exactly the same (my husband can't confidently tell them.apart yet, so I feel.safe in saying that).  Twins make random.people idiots.  That is about all there is to it.
