We like the "Ray-uh" pronunciation but the Rhea spelling... you think it will be an issue? Any other way we could spell this that isn't made up? Thanks.
Huh. I have known two Rheas, both rayuh, and one Ria, rheeuh.
eta: those should both have dashes between the syllables but they don't work on my phone. Hey, bump gods, why don't hyphens and brackets work when bumping from my phone?

I know three adult women with the name Rhea and they all pronounce it Ray Uh. Famous actress Rhea Perlman says it that way too. I've never heard it as Ree Uh so surprised most responses thus far are saying that.
I always pronounced it Ray-uh. But with that said, I still do associate it with diarrhea. And for that reason alone, I could never use it.

Ree-uh.
We have an upscale consignment sale here called Rhea Lana- pronounced Ree-uh.
This!
And I know someone with the last name of Rhea, and it's pronounced Ray-uh.
So, Ree-uh for a first name and Ray-uh for a last name.

Ray
ETA: Caroline Rhea pronounces it Ray and that's the only time I've heard of it.
I said it like this too and for that reason.
No she doesn't. She pronounces it Ree-uh.
