Wtf happened?

For the last week Sophia has been fighting naps and bedtime. She usually goes to her room without a problem. Now I have to carry her in there kicking and screaming. I know she's tired. For naps, if she doesn't fall asleep she will at least be okay with quiet time.

I at least had a toddler who didn't give me any trouble with bed. Shiit, she would even get her blankie and Mickey and walk towards her room saying "night night". Now I don't even have that!

Is it a phase or is this where they start fighting bedtime? Please, for the love of cheese, tell me it's a phase!

If it's a phase, we're in the thick of it, too.  Our formerly STTN kid who went down with no struggle is no more.

What about morning wake ups? She is now waking at 5:30am or 6.

So, we're at no naps, bedtime refusal and early wake ups. Shiit just got serious.

I've tried earlier and later bedtime. My routine is the same everyday. Oh, now because she's used to the routine, she fights me on taking a bath. She used to beg and cry for a bath prior her antics. So, she just doesn't want to sleep. She's also non stop moving. It's go go go ALL DAMN DAY. :::checks to see if I have more wine:::

How about a new toy for the bath? We got DD some bathtub fingerpaint and even if she starts to throw a fit about bath time, we ask her if she wants to paint, she freaks, and crawls up the stairs super fast.

Thats a good idea. She's due for new tub toys and we'll be out at the stores later. Thanks, crash.

My kid is still not sleeping regularly. The only thing of which I am certain is that she is not getting enough sleep, there is just no way.

I'm going nuts, there is very little rhyme or reason to her sleep right now, and it is exhausting!

We're there, too.  She throws her blankie out 18 times and then has a shitfit until we get it. She must be wrapped in a blanket with 50 specifically chosen stuffed animals around her.  Lots of fun.

At least a 2 yr molar popped through last week, so I've been blaming it on that. Perfect timing with 6 w till baby.

I certainly hope it IS a phase. (And that DD2 doesn't suddenly decide to follow in that trend.)
