Now that I've completely dried up and we're using formula for every feeding, we're going through formula like crazy. So my little curious brain was just wondering how it goes down in other homes. Please answer the following to appease my curiosity!

1. How old is LO?

2. How many oz does LO eat each feeding, on average?

3. How many times does LO eat per day, on average?

4. How often do you refill or open a new formula tub/bottle, how many oz is it, and is it powder or liquid premade?

Every 3 to 4 days we open a new 16+oz powder refill.

Every 4 hours or so... no MOTN feeding though. 

 

RTF - we go through about 1 32oz bottle per day. 

 

ETA: sorry she doesnt drink 32oz per day, we have like 10 bottles that we rotate so we basically open and pour about 32oz per day

1. How old is LO? 13m actual and almost 11m adjusted.

2. How many oz does LO eat each feeding, on average? 6 to 8 oz usually although lately it will be less if they had a big solids meal. We're going to start the WCM transition soon.

3. How many times per day does LO eat per day, on average? 4 bottles, three solid meals, solid snacks in between.

4. How often do you refill or open a new formula tub/bottle, how many oz is it, and is it powder, or liquid premade?
A 23oz container of powder lasts us a little over two days. This weekend the boys had HFM so I splurged on premade. We used two 32oz bottles each day, one for each boy.

3. How many times does LO eat per day, on average?  she used to eat up to 6 times!  We are cutting her down to about 3 (morning, afternoon, before bed) along with 3 regular meals and small snacks. We have a HUNGRY baby!

4. How often do you refill or open a new formula tub/bottle, how many oz is it, and is it powder or liquid premade?   We went through roughly one Similac tub every 10 days or so.

3. 4 bottles/day (and solids 3x/day)

4. I buy 2 lb tubs of Kirkland formula from Costco.  It lasts me about a week and a day.

Depends, feeds right before nap 5oz, snack feed 3oz, bedtime bottle 6-7oz. 

3. How many times does LO eat per day, on average?

He eats about 3 5oz bottles, 1-2 3oz bottles and 6-7 oz bottle before bed, plus one 6oz in the MOTN.  He also gets fruits/veggies.

Ugh, he'll only drink the premade stuff... so it's like a bottle a day.

Almost 10 months.

 4 bottles (down from 5) plus 3 meals a day and usually 2 snacks  (cheerios, puffs, fruit, etc.  We just transitioned him down to 4 bottles around 9 months because he's been eating solids so well and he's a porker

We go through a 1.38lb tub of powder in about 5 days or so.. I make up 28oz of formula/day -- 14 scoops!   Stuff gets pricey!! Thankfully, we've weaned off the nutramigen and are just on Isomil now!!
