Why do they call that B - Aunt?

Yes, I'm referring to Aunt Flow. I previously mentioned that I am extremely regular and start my cycle on day 27. Well, cd28 came and went and I just knew... just knew that AF was playing her beechy games! So yes, she came on cd29... also known as MOTHER'S DAY!

What a B! I told me husband this was just like her and he laughed at me reference to "her". The good thing is, I was expecting it and didn't have my hopes up this time. I was even able to laugh at the irony, while just shaking my head in annoyance inside. Last year, I would have curled up and cried the entire day. I'm at least in a better place emotionally.

But seriously... why do they call it Aunt Flow? All my Aunts are kind and loving... not that AF though!

I love the way you personify AF - I do the same thing I agree she is a wench who doesn't deserve an endearing name. I'm sorry that this cycle didn't work out, but here's hoping for the best in the next one!

While many people have loving aunts, it's in refernce to her showing up unwelcome and sometimes staying too long...like some relatives. Sorry she was like for you. Biotch!
