hi HCG levels at 5 weeks 5 days

So Thursday they drew blood for the first time to check my HCG levels? they were at 10,700 at only 5 weeks and 5 days?so instead of drawing more blood to see if my levels go up they want to do an ultra sound right away! My appointment is at 11:45 today and I am SO nervous!!! I really hope nothing is wrong.  I know I?m not off on my dates because I had a full period the month before and I took PT? has this happened to anyone else?

Hope all goes well!  I've never had betas drawn so I have no experience... I've heard the actual number means less than the doubling rate- sounds like you've got a Live wire on board!!!

I hope all went well. My hcg was 12700 at 5w1d, and I had to wait until 7 weeks for us. I am having twins...

This is totally me, I had very high hcg levels that measured further along....however my u/s sound basically showed nothing....but since my levels are still going up I am scheduled to have another u/s next week!
