We made it another day/night in the hospital. (learning to celebrate the little victories)
Feeling OK today...no major cramps/contractions...just trying to keep these babies in!
Thankful that my parents will be here to visit any minute and my in-laws are swinging by tonight. Having visitors makes staying in the hospital in bed all day a little more bearable.
Happy mothers day, all!

H is cooking here for his mom and dad. I'll be on the couch. Getting a little frustrated with my atrophied muscles, wish I could walk around a little! Hope you all have a lovely Mothers Day!

Happy Mother's Day ladies I've had a good day. DH and DS came for a long visit and brought flowers and pastries yum We let DS watch a cartoon for a while and DH climbed in bed with me and we took a half-nap. It was really nice.
Yesterday I was feeling isolated/the effects of the lack of contact with them. (The come every day but still I miss sleeping in the same bed and just being there at home.) Although last night DH brought takeout and we all ate together and it was great. Highly recommend that as a change of pace.
I have an u/s tomorrow. If cvx is the same or slightly shorter they may let me go home. But dr said if basically no cvx left I will be here for the duration. I am trying to prepare myself for that but I can't bear the thought of it. I have begun to feel really isolated being in the hospital and it is causing stress which is not good (I have more contractions when stressed). So I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst. (Well technically as long as babies stay in is not the worst.)
sending my best to everyone today!

{{hugs}} to those of you in the hospital feeling isolated. Today is day 6 of hospital bed rest so the isolation hasn't set in yet. Yesterday a family friend visited and today another 2 family friends visited. It was a nice way to spend a few hours. DH should be here in a bit. Yesterday when he visited we managed to squeeze into the bed and took a nice nap together. It felt good to have the physical connection.
Last night's blood work showed slightly elevated white blood cell count so I am back on antibiotics. They basically don't know what the infection is but are treating it the best they can.
Today my roommate got to go home. She was almost the same gestation, had been having contractions, and was dilated 3cm but they let her go home. Maybe it was because she is 20yo and this is her first pregnancy but I'm curious as to why she left.
I would like to be home but know at the moment this is the best place for me and baby.

Woke up this am, with high bp. So we packed up the bags and went to the hospital to make sure everything was ok. The reading at home was 210110, we took no chances. Got to the hospital and the first 2 readings were great, the next few not so. So dr. changed my medicine again, and I got to go home. Baby is coming in 2 weeks ready or not, due to high bp! Good Luck to everyone! Happy Mothers Day!

Still pretty new to this, as it is only day 3 but so far finding enough to keep me busy and not totally bored.
The night nurse didn't wake / check on me last night so I had a pretty great sleep all things considered. Didn't even have to wake up to pee!
Plans for today are finishing my book and waiting for hubby to stop by hospital for a visit.
Hope everyone has a great Mother's Day!
