Babies: 0 - 3 Months

socks.

I remember reading posts on various boards while pg about socks and which ones do or dont stay on. I admit to having been confused because I dont remember having any issue with socks not staying on when my 21 year old or my 16 year old were babies. Now I understand why. I had both of them in "thigh high" tube socks which kept their legs warm and kept the socks from being kicked off so easily. Now they're considered retro 80' s.....and not as available as they used to be. : I loved them as baby socks because one size could take them from newborn to toddler and they covered the legs.

Re: socks.

  • I'm having a problem with socks for my LO. The babies r' us brand ones I've bought stay on but are so tight, they leave marks on her ankles/legs and look very uncomfortable. The Carter's and OshKosh brand socks tend to fall off when our LO gets squirmy but at least they don't look like they're cutting circulation, so I prefer them.

  • That's funny, I was just thinking today how cute it would be if my little guy had some knee or thigh high socks! I wish they were still popular, grrrr.
  • Our Nike socks are staying on all day!

  • The Old Navy triple roll socks will be most similar to that 80s style.  They're the best socks-- still use them for my 3 year old.
